A Holiday "Project"

Izzey has 2 new favorite things - glitter and scissors. Incorporating both of these obsessions, we are in the process of making holiday wrapping paper. I use the word "process" because it involves a two and a half year old. Unless a Christmas elf named Mommy starts working in the evening, it will be Easter 2011 before we have enough Christmas 2009 wrap for presents! I use the word process also because isn't that what it's all about? The fun, mess, and delight of creating with scissors, glitter (pink of course!), and white tempera paint. For Izzey and Mommy too, spending time together in the process is even better than pink glitter!
