You learn quickly in Seattle to make the most of the summer days that you get - even the rainy ones. A little rain (nor sleet, nor snow for that matter ) can keep the Milsteins from enjoying a day at the Woodland Park Zoo together. The penguins and elephants were family favorites. Ian was especially taken with the young orangutan and refused to leave the window until his new friend went "mi-mi".
Izzey's favorite part was her first carousel ride! Just look at that beautiful smile!

I keep hearing ads for the dinosaur display at the zoo where one of the features is that the dinosaurs will SPIT on you. Really? That's a plus? (So, do they?)
