As most of you probably know, Marc considers the Mariners a far cry from his idolized Chicago Cubs but they had to do. Izzey went to her second baseball game today. After two other unsuccessful attempts (thanks to longer than usual nap times), we made it to Safeco Field just after the first pitch was thrown. We stayed until the top of the 8th in an effort to leave on an up note (translation - no tantrums!). As it turned out, most of the game runs were scored after we left! C'est la vie with a one year old!

Why a Cub shirt at Safeco Field? She should be wearing her Richie Sexson jersey with the Mariner Moose.
